BBC Energy Centre London

The BBC’s Media Village at White City in West London is a vibrant complex of buildings designed by distinguished architects Allies and Morrison.  WILA supplied a large proportion of the original fluorescent lighting in 2008.

One of the buildings; Energy Centre which provides services to the site, and between 2008 and 2018 was the offices for the Top Gear television production team and the Top Gear magazine team.

After they moved into the main BBC Studios offices in Broadcast Centre in 2018 the 1st & 2nd Floor Plates were refurbished throughout.

In line with the New Broadcasting House lighting upgrade WILA again supplied the CLUSTER LED luminaire (1450x300mm) for this building along with a number of other highly efficient luminaires; Tentec LED downlights, LINIC60 and LINIC100 pendant luminaires.

Bluetooth Casambi controls were again integrated throughout along with a standalone monitored emergency system.
